What is YouTube Vanced?
YouTube Vanced is the most popular latest modded version of YouTube. It added various unique features to the official App of YouTube. Those features include built-in background playback, ad blocking, black/dark theme, background change, and more. Moreover, remember that YouTube Vanced has been discontinued as of March 13, 2022.
You can use several ways to install YouTube Vanced on your Rooted Devices. But, the most preferred methods are the SAI app or Lucky Patcher to install it on your device.

Pre-requisites
- Going to the play store and download Split APKs Installer
- If you use Lucky Patcher, download the APK and manually install it on your device first.
Setting up
- Disable Play Protect.
- If you do not want to do this, I suggest installing the non-root version (or Vanced Manager with a changed channel link) instead. If you keep this enabled, Play Protect will periodically scan the device and uninstall (without notification) Youtube Vanced (if you know a fix, please let me know).
- Go to Settings
- Press Security
- Click on App Security.
- Tap on the Settings icon.
- Click on Disable “Scan apps with Play Protect.”
- Find a copy of Vanced YouTube and download the latest version of Youtube Vanced (v17.03.38.zip)
- Go into the Play Store and install SAI (Split APK’s Installer).
- Open SAI and click on “Install APKs.”
How to install YouTube Vanced on a Rooted device
- Download the latest YT Vanced Manager app on your Android device.
- First, install the App
- Open it after installation.
- Grant the ‘Superuser’ access for the App in the initial configuration window.
- Disable signature verification in the framework so Vanced can be installed, replacing Official YT APK.
- To disable the Signature, you can either press the “Guide” button on the App for detailed instructions or “Smali Patcher” to modify the framework.
- The Signature is secured and not influenced to be disabled. You are at your own risk here.
- After the scary Signature disabling part, you can press “Install,” and you are done by selecting themes and language afterward.
- YouTube Vanced will be installed within the next few seconds.
